It amazes me when I think of the kingship grace of the Lion. The lion understands the road map to dominating every barrier. Think of it, the biggest animal in the jungle is the elephant; the tallest is Giraffe, the wisest is Tortoise, the fastest is Cheetah of all these wonderful qualities mentioned, where is Lion in the picture? Yet, the Lion is the king of the jungle even without any of these qualities.
Here is some interesting facts about lions ;
- A lion’s roar can be heard from as far as 5 miles away.
- A lion may sleep up to 20 hours a day.
- Male lions defend the pride’s territory while females do most of the hunting. Despite this, the males eat first.
- African lions are the most social of all big cats and live together in groups or “prides.” A pride consists of about 15 lions.
- Lions rarely eat entire prey, they usually leave leftovers for other animals
Here is what I discovered that fascinate about the lion;
The lion is courageous, bold and always ready to face any mountain, any challenges and any barrier that crosses his part, no matter how big they are. The Lion walks with confidence, dares anything and is never afraid, an unstoppable risk-taker. A lion believes any animal is food for him, it believes any opportunity is worth giving a trial and never allows it slip from his hands, the lion has charisma.
From the lion you learn that you don’t need to be the fastest, you don’t need to be the wisest, you don’t need to be the smartest, you don’t need to be the most brilliant, you don’t need to be generally accepted to achieve your dreams and be great in life.
All you need is courage, all you need is boldness, the will to try, the faith to believe it is possible, to believe in yourself that you can. Believe that you are the only one that should be up there, no one else.
