Decision Theory (Part 2)

It is the decisions you make and  not the conditions of your life that determine your destiny. The question is, What are you deciding to do about your future? What are you prompting to do about the frustrations and tragedies of your past and present? why not turn your weakness to your strength? You can’t turn a weakness into a strength if you’re busy denying the weakness exists.

There is a big difference in being interested in something and being committed to it. Statements such as “I’d really like to make more money” or “I’d like to make a difference” or “I’d like to be closer to my family,” or “I’d like to give up drinking” is just stating a preference. These statements are very weak and hold no power. The power comes when you decide to be committed.

Make it happen.

The word ‘decision actually comes for the Latin roots meaning to cut off from’ Making a true decision means committing to achieving a result and then cutting yourself off from any other possibility. This kind of clarity gives you such power. You can stop drinking, gambling or whatever it is that needs to change in an instant with one simple decision.

Right now you can make a decision. If you truly decide to you can do almost anything. Start by proclaiming ‘This is who I am and what my life is all about. Nothing will stop me from achieving my destiny. This is what I am going to do and I won’t be denied.” That there is a committed decision.

Same way, I’m committed to changing the destiny of many people. Make the committed decision today to join our growing team.
